Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our HR team in London, which is responsible for working closely with the Employee Relations Manager, the HR Business Partners and the HR Services team to provide proactive and commercial HR advice and guidance to the business to assist them in delivering their overall business strategy.
This is a hybrid working role and will require some travel between Bracknell and London and other offices as required.
As HR Adviser, your responsibilities will include among others:
- Provide advice and support on employee relations issues including, but not limited to performance management, sickness absence management, flexible working requests and grievances etc, escalating as required
- Establish and develop trusted relationships across the business at a variety of levels through collaboration and gaining credibility, providing support to the wider HR Team (including Senior HR Adviser) as required on employee relations matters
- Collaborate with managers and HRBPs to develop action plans for employee concerns and performance issues.
- Support the HRBP - Policy & Contracts with the development and implementation of ER policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of ER cases and documentation
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice, employment law and current thinking and developments in HR
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent systems and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, with initiative to identify solutions
- CIPD L5 or equivalent relevant professional qualification
