Job Description
Overview
Do you love that feeling when a sales rep changes the conversation to nail a tricky, more technical question because of enablement you built? Do you ever find yourself frustrated when a “deep-in-the-weeds” technical manual stands between the field team and a clear, winning conversation? If you are nodding along as you read this, this role might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
In the world of cybersecurity, having a great product is only half the battle; our team needs to be able to explain why our value matters with total confidence. We’re looking for a storyteller who can take a technical concept and turn it into an “Aha!” moment for a seller. As our Product Enablement Program Manager, you’ll sit right in the middle of our brilliant engineers and product marketers and our high-energy sales teams, making sure everyone is speaking the same language. If you’re passionate about helping people find their voice and helping customers stay secure, we’d love to hear from you!

- Growth Space: Room for you to lead the product enablement roadmap from strategy through execution—from launching internal certification programs to helping a veteran AE master a new security feature.
- Startup Energy: Provide a fast-paced environment where your work has a direct, measurable impact on win rates and sales velocity.
- Supportive Ecosystem: Give you access to the tools (LMS/CMS), subject matter experts, and interdepartmental support needed to deliver world-class curriculums.
What you can do for Expel
- Simplify the Complex: Partner with Product and Marketing to transform technical specs into digestible content (workshops, knowledge checks, and certifications.
- Drive the Launch: Lead the charge for all new product and feature launches, ensuring the field feels ready and excited before the launch date. Build internal programs that help our teams connect our tech to real-world business problems.
- Curate the Experience: Use different mediums (videos, role-plays, infographics) to ensure our training sticks, no matter how someone prefers to learn.
- Measure Impact: Use data from Salesforce and your enablement platforms to see what’s working and where the team needs a little extra love.
What you should bring with you
- Professional Experience: 4–6+ years in Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, or Technical Training (with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS, preferably Cybersecurity).
- Translational Communication: The unique ability to listen to an Engineer and explain the resulting value to a non-technical Account Executive.
- Tool Mastery: Experience with LMS/CMS platforms (e.g., Mindtickle, Highspot, WorkRamp) and CRM data (Salesforce).
- The “Compelling Story”: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., transitioning from a SOC Analyst role into enablement or building your own consultancy).
- Bias for Action: A drive to ship content, capture feedback, and iterate quickly.
