Life Insurance Case Manager

Job Description

Your primary responsibility in this role is to perform required support functions for Underwriting.


To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving in a professional area
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment

Essential Functions

  • Completing operational tasks such as ordering gathering third party information (i.e. MVRs, APSs) and other similar tasks as requested
  • Processing new business in a timely manner to ensure cases are in good order
  • Working with underwriters and other functional areas to resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintains and updates recurring reports and tracking logs in Google Sheets to independently complete functional processes

Qualifications

  • Experience with PC in a Windows environment
  • Experience with remote work
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Life insurance case management experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Google products including Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet preferred
  • Proficiency with operating across multiple first and third party environments
