About the Role

As a Commercial Enablement Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of developing employees across APAC’s commercial departments—Account Management and Onboarding. Your role is to elevate team success by analyzing skills gaps, refining employee development materials on topics (soft skills, FH functionality, etc.) in support of commercial objectives, developing employee development curriculums for commercial teams, crafting dynamic learning content, and delivering new hire onboarding as needed.

Not only will you collaborate directly with departmental managers and Commercial Enablement Lead, but your engagement with the commercial teams and inter-departmental trainers will be central to your role. You’ll create tailored training programs and targeted training content  that further align with departmental objectives and company goals and your focus on nurturing employees throughout their journey will be instrumental in their growth. You’ll focus both on specific functional areas and broader soft and hard skills.

What you’ll do here:

New Hire Onboarding:

Lead the facilitation of technical dashboard training and onboarding for new FareHarbor hires beginning on day 4 and continuing throughout the cycle of the department-specific training program. This role is responsible for delivering, executing, and continuously refining technical training in alignment with department managers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

Core Focus: Execute department-specific new hire development that integrates foundational product functionality with essential departmental concepts, ensuring each new hire receives relevant, role-appropriate training.

Ongoing Employee Development: Complete ownership of the Account Management and Onboarding employee continuous learning and development in APAC. In doing so, you will create role specific training materials ranging from new hires to tenured employees across AM and OB. Additionally, you will collaborate with managers and Commercial Enablement Lead to create and expand employee skill development and implement developmental curriculums for respective teams, defining clear measures of success and continually tracking efficiency against them.

Content Management:

Creating and updating a library of educational materials including facilitator guides, slide decks, and other training materials across new hire onboarding and commercial team training. Ensuring all commercial training materials are current and recurring updates are managed for consistency and accuracy of training delivery, additionally collaborating with the L&D team for content review in support of best practices. Ad hoc training and development needs and special projects  are included here and fall within the scope of this role to be addressed on an ad hoc basis should they arise.

You will collaborate with product marketing to tailor training materials produced by product marketing to APAC commercial AM and Onboarding (collaborating closely with Sales Enablement). Continuously  collaborating with product marketing to both communicate product knowledge gaps identified on commercial teams, and work together to track improvement on commercial teams.

Analysis:

Analyze and  identify  appropriate training methods and activities to evoke learning transfer (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes), and general skills gap analysis , aligning  with managers to implement development methods and educational trainings across our commercial teams in the most effective and engaging manner as relevant to each commercial team.

Leveraging your ability to identify skills and dashboard knowledge gaps within our commercial teams will shape how you approach refining and improving the current employee development program.

Undertake comprehensive reviews of manager-led sessions to ensure they uphold high-quality standards, align with relevant content, and facilitate meaningful skill development. Assessing the effectiveness of our training and coaching programs and making changes to improve performance.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, teaching/training skills,  presentation skills, and possess a  high attention to detail coupled with a creative problem-solving mindset for delivering impactful training sessions to our commercial teams.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and structured training sessions to diverse learner groups across Account Management and Onboarding.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee training, coaching, or development, with a strong ability to break down complex concepts into clear, digestible learning content.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and emerging learning methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional training partners, including the Sales Trainer, to ensure alignment and continuity across all commercial training programs.
  • Experience creating training materials and curricula (e.g., facilitator guides, slide decks, role-play scenarios, structured learning paths) with high attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to conduct skills gap and knowledge gap analyses, translate findings into learning initiatives, and measure the impact of development programs.
  • Proficiency with enablement tools, CRM systems, and productivity platforms, with the ability to incorporate technology into training delivery and employee development.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of delivering multiple training initiatives simultaneously with consistency and accuracy.
  • Highly collaborative, able to work closely with departmental managers, the Commercial Enablement Lead, the Sales Trainer, and cross-departmental subject matter experts.
  • High level of autonomy and initiative, able to identify learning needs, propose solutions, and execute projects with limited direction in a fast-changing environment.

Bonus Points:

Formal certifications in training or instructional design, such as:

  • Skill Gap Analysis
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Certificate in Workplace Training
  • Certifications related to LMS administration or instructional design

Experience with:

  • Learning and enablement program development
  • Building or managing learning curriculums for commercial teams
  • Collaborating with Sales Trainers or similar cross-functional training roles
  • Designing or facilitating simulations, role plays, or scenario-based learning

Background in SaaS customer onboarding, customer success, or commercial operations

Experience with learning management systems or enablement platforms
