Kick‑start your investment research career in a role where your analysis and insights directly influence fund ratings and investment decisions across multiple asset classes. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of around four days per week in the office.
This role offers the opportunity to develop deep investment research expertise while working alongside experienced analysts in a respected research team. You will gain hands‑on exposure to fund manager reviews, asset‑class analysis, and research committee processes, building a strong foundation for long‑term growth in the investment industry. Your key responsibilities as an Associate Investment Analyst will include:
- Maintaining databases and quantitative information to support fund filtering, analysis, and research accuracy.
- Collecting, coordinating, and reviewing information required for fund manager reviews, sector reports, and research activities.
- Participating in fund manager assessment meetings and preparing detailed review notes and supporting documentation.
- Writing high‑quality research reports and assigning investment assessments and recommendations across asset classes.
- Scoring fund manager assessment criteria and presenting investment ratings to the research committee.
- Publishing research reports to clients and incorporating relevant factual feedback from fund managers.
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as an Associate Investment Analyst:
- You will have excellent writing skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex investment information.
- You will demonstrate strong numerical, analytical, and spreadsheet skills, with high attention to detail.
- You will have a genuine interest in financial markets and investments across multiple asset classes (equities preferred).
- You will be confident building relationships and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and fund managers.
- You will hold a finance degree or equivalent qualification relevant to investment research.
