We’re building a one-stop shop for investing that gives power back to individual investors. Finary lets users track their assets, manage budgets, invest money, and learn about finance, all in one place.
Launched in 2021, we’ve grown to 850,000+ users. In September 2025, we closed a €25M Series B led by PayPal Ventures, with backing from Y Combinator, Hedosophia, Speedinvest, and founders from Qonto, Photoroom, Bitpanda, UBS, and Wise.

TL;DR
You’ll build and ship features used by 850,000+ users on Finary’s web platform, working with React and Next.js in a modern, AI-native engineering environment. This is a high-autonomy role where you’ll contribute to architecture decisions and ship at high velocity alongside a small, senior team.
What you’ll do
Build and ship delightful features end-to-end on Finary’s web platform
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction: this isn’t just feature work, you’ll shape how we build
Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and communication patterns
Partner with product managers and designers to turn product vision into polished, high-quality experiences
Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to multiply your output: we believe writing code manually is no longer where your value lies
Raise the bar on code quality, developer experience, and engineering practices
What we’re looking for
Strong expertise in React or modern frontend frameworks (JavaScript/TypeScript). NextJS experience is a plus
Solid understanding of backend systems and computer science fundamentals: you can work with backend engineers to define contracts and reason about system design
AI pioneer: you’ve understood that manual code-writing is mostly solved and actively use AI tools to multiply your productivity. If your current company restricts AI usage, you have personal projects that demonstrate your expertise
Senior or Staff level: you don’t just ship features, you contribute to architecture, mentor peers, and drive technical decisions
Radical ownership: you own outcomes, move fast, and don’t wait for permission
Fluent in English: written and spoken. Our engineering team works in English

What we offer
Compensation
Level 1 (learning the craft): €30-60K
Level 2 (level 1 + autonomy): €60-80K
Level 3 (level 2 + ownership): €70-90K
Level 4 (level 3 + technical leadership): €80-110K
Level 5 (level 4 + shapes company direction): €100-130K
We can go higher for outstanding profiles. This role is open from Level 4 to Level 5 depending on experience.
Team
You’ll join an engineering team of ~30, organized in four full-stack squads (Track, Investment, Crypto, Finary One) plus a platform team (SRE, security, data). Your manager will be an Engineering Manager. You’ll work daily with backend engineers, product managers, and designers.
Squads are fluid: they exist to solve specific problems and evolve as priorities shift. You’ll have stability within a squad but move across them as needed. At our current size (3 web engineers), there’s high flexibility without over-specialization.
