FireMon

We founded FireMon in 2004 to build a firewall policy management platform. Our platform gives organizations real-time visibility and control over their hybrid IT environments. We offer security policy management, cloud security management, and cyber asset management solutions to help reduce risk, enforce compliance, and quickly implement secure access changes across various networks. Our platform automates enterprise network security policy management for complex firewall setups in hybrid, cloud, and on-premises environments.

Our platform detects and reports changes, analyzes compliance, and tests policy behavior. It normalizes policies across different firewall vendors, analyzes rule and object usage, and sends change alerts. We also provide enterprise scalability using distributed data collectors, traffic flow analysis, PCI compliance reporting, and network mapping and modeling. We use attack graph analysis, a policy planner workflow with rule recommendations, and policy optimization to achieve 100% visibility across hybrid environments. This gives users a single view for policies from multiple vendors and allows for quick policy searches.

Over 1,700 organizations in more than 70 countries use FireMon, including those in healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, and technology. We integrate with over 100 systems, such as firewalls, routers, load balancers, proxies, cloud VPCs, VNets, network ACLs, and remote user solutions like SD-WAN and SASE. We acquired Lumeta in 2018 and DisruptOps in 2021.
