We founded Symmetry Systems in 2019 to specialize in Data+AI Security within the computer and network security industry.

Our platform addresses modern data security and privacy challenges at scale. We provide visibility and control over data assets to safeguard data, detect threats, ensure compliance, and reduce AI risks. This includes protecting against misuse, insider threats, cybercriminals, and unintended exposure of sensitive information through generative AI technologies.

The platform works with structured and unstructured data across major clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), SaaS storage services (like OneDrive), and on-premises databases and data lakes. It can be deployed as a read-only service in strictly regulated environments.

We discover and classify sensitive data and AI models, detect potential threats through real-time data and ML-based anomaly detection, and govern access permissions with customizable policies and automated remediation. Our specialties include Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Detection & Response (DDR), Cloud Identity and Entitlement Management (CIEM), Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), and AI Security Posture Management (AISPM).

In March 2024, we launched a new Data+AI Security product line to support the secure enterprise adoption of generative AI, such as Microsoft Copilot.

We’ve been recognized as a 2022 Gartner Cool Vendor and received a 2023 Data Solution of the Year award from Data Breakthrough. We are also an AWS Security Competency Partner for Data Protection.

Symmetry Systems has secured over $35 million in funding from investors like ForgePoint Capital, Prefix Capital, Accenture Ventures, W11, and TSG. Our solutions are used by financial service providers, manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and federal agencies.
