The Junior PR Manager will support the execution of PR activities in Italy and Nordics by assisting with press materials, media relations, and coverage monitoring. The role contributes to managing PR content across internal and external channels, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with Flix’s corporate and sustainability goals. Please keep in mind this is a 1-year fixed-term role.
About the Role
- Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials
- Support relationships with regional and national journalists and media outlets through regular communication and follow-ups
- Monitor media coverage and prepare weekly/monthly press clippings and reports
- Assist in managing PR content for internal and external channels (website, newsletters, and social media), ensuring consistent messaging aligned with corporate and sustainability communications
- Support the scouting and engagement of new contacts (bloggers, content creators, influencers, etc.) to develop partnerships aimed at promoting tourism and sustainable mobility initiatives
About You
- Previous experience in communication, public relations, or journalism, along with a degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field is preferable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences
- Basic knowledge of media relations and PR tools, including press releases, media lists, and coverage monitoring
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn, especially in areas related to communication, travel, sustainability, and public relations
