Job Description
The Opportunity:
We, at Flywire, are seeking a Business Development Representative, Travel to help us attract and business develop into new clients across industries in the region. This individual should be hardworking, understands the urgency of a start-up, and takes pride in the ownership of their tasks while collaborating in a team setting. The Business Development Representative, Travel will report directly to the Sales Manager, Travel.
- Outbound research and prospecting for sales contacts via emails, phone calls, LinkedIn, etc.
- Identifying new markets and qualifying potential opportunities to expand the team’s pipeline
- Conducting presentations and product demonstrations to interested leads
- Managing inbound leads to accelerate sales
- Assisting with the preparation and execution of sales events and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Preferably has experience in lead generation, cold calling, sales development, process automation or data analytics
- Take initiative to make contact with potential leads to generate interest in our solution
- Familiarity with CRM applications and Excel (Salesforce preferred)
- Fresh graduates to individuals with up to 2 years of client-facing experience.
- Passion for transitioning into tech sales
- International experience or language skills relevant to the markets we operate in, such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Australia, New Zealand, or South Korea
