Job Description

The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy, is a key contributor within Freshworks’ global Strategy team, driving high-priority strategic initiatives that shape the company’s growth, investment decisions, and execution focus.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, you will join an established and growing team that serves as a central talent hub within Freshworks. You’ll partner closely with leaders with top-tier management consulting and SaaS operating backgrounds, combining the analytical rigor of consulting with hands-on execution inside a fast-moving technology company.

This role offers meaningful exposure to senior executives and is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, analytical depth, and translating strategy into real business impact—without extensive travel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive analysis and execution for strategic initiatives aligned to Freshworks’ most important company priorities
  • Partner with Strategy leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Sales, Finance, Operations) to frame problems, gather data, and develop fact-based recommendations
  • Lead market, competitive, and financial analysis, including business cases, scenario modeling, and investment evaluations
  • Develop executive- and board-ready strategy materials, clearly articulating insights, options, and recommendations
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, defining workstreams, milestones, and success metrics
  • Support strategic planning and prioritization cycles, including opportunity sizing, operational deep-dives, and trade-off analysis
  • Track initiative progress to help ensure momentum, alignment, and follow-through across teams and geographies
  • Bring structure, analytical rigor, and clear communication to complex, ambiguous business problems.

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/ week (Tues - Thurs) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or similarly analytical roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into insights and recommendations
  • Proven experience with financial modeling and business case development
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and slide-building skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; no direct people management required
  • Experience working in or supporting SaaS or technology businesses preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Additional Information

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/ week (Tues - Thurs) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.

The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $285,000. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
