Fundrise, founded in 2010, is a direct-to-consumer private markets manager. We solve a long-standing problem: regulations historically limited individual investors’ access to private markets like real estate and venture capital, giving an advantage to large institutions. This meant most investors were limited to public markets and missed out on private opportunities.

We built a technology platform to solve this. Our software helps us achieve institutional scale without the bureaucracy. By combining technology with investment expertise, we’re creating a new way to build investment portfolios. We are America’s largest direct-to-consumer private markets manager, specializing in online investing, real estate, commercial real estate, investment management, alternative investing, financial technology, venture capital, and private credit. Our work involves processing investments, onboarding new investors, ensuring compliance, and maintaining service standards. We collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver scalable investor services. Our goal is to open up private markets and make real estate investment accessible to everyone.

We have 201-500 employees. We are a remote-first company, though all employees must live in the United States. We emphasize collaboration, both among internal teams and with external partners, especially when delivering scalable investor services. We focus on continuous improvement, constantly looking for ways to streamline and automate our operations.
