We launched our alternative investment platform in 2009 for independent financial advisors. Our platform manages the entire lifecycle pre-trade, trade, and post-trade for alternative investments and capital markets strategies, acting as a single system for advisors and alternative asset managers.

We serve over 2,000 wealth management firms and more than 62,000 financial advisors, who collectively oversee about $7.5 trillion in client assets.

We focus on alternative investments, capital markets, structured solutions, financial technology, and wealth management. Our platform gives advisors access to private equity, hedge funds, and structured notes. Advisors can use either the CAIS Marketplace, a ready-to-use platform, or CAIS Solutions, a customizable SaaS technology. The platform digitizes subscriptions and integrates reporting with major custodians to make investing simpler. Mercer independently reviews all funds on the CAIS Marketplace for institutional investment and operational due diligence. We also use machine learning and AI to build predictive models that help us make data-informed product decisions and improve our workflows.

Our headquarters are in New York City, with other offices in London, Austin, Texas, and Red Bank, New Jersey.

We use a hybrid work model. Most New York City roles require at least three days in the office each week. Some roles, like Platform Engineering in London, are mostly remote but include weekly in-person collaboration.

Employees receive monthly reimbursements for personal wellness expenses, or a monthly allowance if they waive our benefits because they have coverage elsewhere.
