Shape Characters That Players Will Remember
At Gameloft, great game experiences start with memorable visuals. We are looking for a 3D Character Artist who is passionate about bringing characters to life and creating high-quality game assets for players around the world.
As part of our Graphics Team in Yogyakarta Studio, you will contribute to the visual production of Gameloft’s world-acclaimed mobile games and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the game development process.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Your Main Challenge
Create high-quality 3D character assets for mobile platforms while maintaining Gameloft’s visual standards and ensuring assets are optimized and ready for production.
What It Means on a Daily Basis
• Create 3D character assets from concept to final in-game integration
• Break down concepts into production-ready asset plans
• Sculpt, model, unwrap, bake, texture, and optimize 3D assets
• Work with 3ds Max, proprietary tools, and game engines to complete production tasks
• Collaborate closely with production artists, designers, and developers to ensure assets are game ready
• Communicate effectively with team members across the production pipeline
• Receive feedback, iterate, and maintain consistent quality standards
• Report progress and collaborate with the Lead 3D Artist on workflows, revisions, and creative directions
WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE
Within your first 1–2 months, you will quickly learn our production pipeline, tools, and artistic standards while contributing to active game production.
By around 6 months, you are expected to independently deliver game-ready 3D character assets while maintaining quality, efficiency, and collaboration across the team.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• An up-to-date portfolio showcasing your artistic and technical skills
• Passion for 3D content creation and video game development
• Strong proficiency in 3ds Max, ZBrush, 3D-Coat, and Photoshop
• Advanced knowledge of high-poly and low-poly modelling
• Strong understanding of texturing workflows with focus on hand-painted textures
• Degree/Diploma in 3D Game Art or equivalent academic or professional experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ownership mindset and attention to detail
