Founded in 2017, we build AI avatar technology that helps developers and creators integrate AI-powered, game-ready Smart Avatars and user-generated content (UGC) into digital experiences.

Our products and services include the Genies Avatar Framework and tools for generating and deploying engine-ready AI characters. We offer several SDKs: the Avatar SDK, AIGC SDK, Smart Avatar SDK, and Party SDK. The Avatar SDK helps integrate high-fidelity, customizable avatars into apps and games, ensuring asset compatibility, cross-platform performance, and persistent identity.

Genies Studio is our platform where users can create intelligent and expressive Genies characters. Users define their personality, lore, aesthetic, and expressions, then use them in Genies Chat or integrate them into games and apps. Our technology focuses on making avatars visually expressive, emotionally responsive, and engine-ready.

Our work involves backend services, full-stack systems, and infrastructure that supports our developer platform, mobile experiences, and AI capabilities. This includes designing and maintaining ML infrastructure for image and 3D generative models, optimizing inference pipelines, and producing diffusion and transformer-based models. We also research and develop core generative AI systems, agentic reasoning frameworks, LLM post-training techniques, and multimodal data pipelines. Our investors include Bob Iger, Silver Lake, BOND, and NEA.

Our mission is to become the visual layer for LLM experiences and help users develop their own avatar ecosystems.
