Team mission
The Payroll team’s mission is to create, maintain and consolidate high-quality, compliant payroll processes for all GetYourGuide entities worldwide. We also report financial information in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with corporate policies and local regulations, while supporting international employees with salary, tax and social security topics.
Your mission
- Working together with equity experts, you will help with equity plan implementation into payroll while supporting the payroll team in their daily operations to become a reliable back up.
- You will serve as the subject matter expert for payroll processing of all equity compensation plans globally and will be the point of contact for employee questions on the subject.
- You will ensure the correct and timely implementation of equity transactions in the payroll of each country in scope, in accordance with local laws and company policies and the proper monthly equity payout and reporting.
- You will check and validate the correct taxation and social security deductions for equity payouts, liaising with payroll vendors and local advisors as needed.
- You will be working closely with the People and Finance teams to ensure seamless and efficient end-to-end payroll processing of equity events.
- Maintain clear documentation and process maps for equity plan payroll integration and compliance.
Your toolkit
- You have 4+ years of experience in managing payroll with stock-based compensation such as stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and other forms of stock-based compensation in multinational companies ensuring legal and taxation compliance.
- You have a strong knowledge of translating stock-based compensation plans into payrolls and their tax implications, including vesting and exercise.
- You are fluent in English (German is a plus).
- You have great organizational, analytical and processing skills, with attention to detail, problem solving and are an experienced Excel / Google Sheets user.
- Experience working with third-party equity compensation administration platforms to maintain clean and accurate data would be an advantage.
- You are used to working with sensitive information, both company and employee-related, and keep a high level of confidentiality.
