Team mission
The Distribution Tech team’s mission is to empower global brands and platforms to unlock unforgettable travel experiences for their customers by making it easy to integrate GetYourGuide’s world-class activities into their own ecosystems. Join us to help millions of travelers discover more, while enabling partner companies to innovate and grow with us.
Your mission
- Design and develop scalable systems that are easily integrated by other companies and used by millions of customers
- Mentor and teach other team members, contribute to team culture, and raise the performance bar
- Work in a cross-functional mission team with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists
- Continuously improve our codebase, systems, and processes
- Find opportunities to help the team meet and exceed cluster goals
Your toolkit
- 5+ years of software development experience
- A strong background in designing and implementing scalable service-oriented architectures and a good understanding of design patterns
- Proficiency in Java/Spring and the ability to build features from scratch
- Experience in defining and tracking data to facilitate customer-centric decision-making
- A positive, pro-active, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge
- A passion for delivering clean code and continuously learning about new tools, languages, and practices
- Be excited experiment with and leverage AI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
