To thrive as a company and meet our impact goals, we must cultivate a culture of high-performance. We know managers are often the single-largest driver of employee satisfaction and growth, and our talent is our biggest asset. Because of that, we’ve identified consistent expectations for all of Guild’s people managers — helping you know what to expect from your experience here.

Guild is hiring a Senior Product Manager to join our team and to advance our benefit administration capabilities. In this role, you will own outcomes across the benefit determination lifecycle—starting with eligibility and expanding into claims management—ensuring Guild can deliver accurate, efficient, and scalable benefit experiences for employer partners and their employees.

You will work alongside Engineers, Designers, PMs, and Operators to design and evolve the systems and workflows that power benefit determination. You will define and lead product decisions, discovery, and delivery; set and monitor success metrics; and drive iteration based on real-world outcomes. In the near term, you will improve and de-risk existing eligibility and claims workflows. In parallel, you will craft a longer-term vision to modernize this lifecycle in order to reduce operational complexity, improve accuracy, and support Guild’s growth.

This role is remote, with occasional travel to Denver (at least quarterly) and other locations as needed.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end benefit determination product area, including eligibility determination and claims workflows, with accountability for measurable outcomes.
  • Act as the product owner across the full product development lifecycle—from deeply understanding current operational processes and regulatory requirements, through solution definition and delivery, to sustained improvement in production performance.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Partner Operations, and internal business stakeholders to establish a clear vision for benefit determination that balances near-term needs with long-term scalability.
  • Translate complex eligibility rules, compliance requirements, and business logic into clear system requirements and workflows that engineering teams can build and operate with confidence.
  • Map, analyze, and improve end-to-end benefit determination processes across multiple systems and touchpoints.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify, or eliminate manual steps in eligibility verification and claims processing.
  • Design solutions that account for real-world complexity, including edge cases, exceptions, and operational constraints common in enterprise benefit administration.
  • Define success metrics, monitor performance, and use data and operational feedback to guide ongoing iteration and improvement.

You are a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Are comfortable working in ambiguity, carving a path forward, and iterating toward better outcomes.
  • Think in systems and enjoy solving complex, multi-step problems that span technology, operations, and customer experience.
  • Value measurable outcomes over outputs and use data to guide prioritization and decisions.
  • Partner effectively across functions and bring clarity to competing priorities.

Expected skills and competencies

  • 5–8+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated success delivering outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong systems thinking and experience designing workflows across multiple systems and teams.
  • Proven ability to partner closely with operations teams to understand current-state processes and design scalable future-state solutions.
  • Comfort working with data models, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
  • Solid technical fluency and the ability to collaborate deeply with engineering on tradeoffs and architecture.
  • Clear, concise communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and frontline operators.
  • A full suite of product skills—from discovery and user story development to roadmap definition and outcome measurement.

Experience that’s a plus

  • Familiarity with benefit administration concepts such as eligibility determination, enrollment, claims adjudication, plan rules, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HR systems, HRIS integrations, or benefits-related workflows.
  • Experience building B2B or marketplace products that serve multiple stakeholders with different incentives and needs.
  • Experience modernizing or scaling operationally complex, regulated systems.

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $150-190,000 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.

Posting Date: 1/22/26

*This role will stay open for a minimum of 3 days.
