About Hack.Diversity
We transform the economy by creating opportunities for the next generation in technology and providing critical public information. We run a nine-month program that partners with technology teams to find, develop, and prepare talent for careers as software engineers, data analysts, and mechanical engineers. This program includes professional skills training, technical team projects, and industry exposure, ending with a 40-hour/week paid internship at one of our Host Companies.
We also work with partner organizations to design systems that promote skills-based evaluation for early-career technical talent and drive lasting organizational change.
Founded in 2016, we launched our New York City site in January 2023, expanding on our impact in Boston. We focus on social impact in the future of technology and have built a sense of belonging in the tech workplace over more than eight program cycles.
Beyond our tech talent initiatives, we also provide essential news and government updates. This includes emerging technologies and digital trends, national news and policy, Social Security updates, stimulus checks and economic relief, IRS news, and details on U.S. government aid programs. We specialize in technology, diversity and inclusion, venture capitalism, workforce development, and career development, operating within the civic and social organizations industry.
