About the role: What’s in the Box
As an Interim Finance & Accounting Manager, you will help ensure the financial integrity of our Benelux entities while providing leadership to a talented finance team. During this maternity cover assignment, you will play a key role in keeping our accounting operations running smoothly across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
You will work closely with our Senior Director of Finance (Benelux & Nordics) and collaborate with teams across Production, Logistics, Marketing, HR, and Group Finance. Your role will sit at the intersection of local statutory requirements, tax compliance, and group reporting, ensuring accuracy while supporting the team through a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do: The Recipe
- Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate accounting and timely financial reporting across our Benelux entities
- Oversee local statutory and tax compliance, including Dutch GAAP alignment, CIT processes, and coordination with external tax advisors
- Manage and support the finance team, providing guidance, prioritization, and leadership through regular 1:1s and team collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, coordinating documentation and supporting audit processes
- Monitor treasury and cash positions, including payment approvals and oversight of cash pool thresholds
- Collaborate with Group Reporting, Tax, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between local accounting practices and global standards
- Support ongoing finance topics such as new entity setups, subsidiary closures, and accounting treatment for new ventures
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
- 8+ years experience with strong accounting background, including statutory reporting, month-end close, and financial compliance
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS, with exposure to local tax processes such as corporate income tax
- Experience leading or mentoring finance teams in a corporate or international environment
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, or similar) and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus
