We are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in our Customer Value Forecasting team inside the Customer Value Optimization department to help build innovative Machine Learning products which drive value forecasting at HelloFresh. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will build machine learning products that directly impact business outcomes, working on cutting-edge forecasting problems with the assistance of AI. Additionally, you will master the design and construction of scalable, robust, and efficient machine learning systems capable of handling massive datasets and intricate models.

- Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers in a cross-functional team to improve HelloFresh’s value forecasting efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into machine learning products and analysis.
- Create proof-of-concept Machine Learning models and quickly iterate on them to build them into production-ready products under the guidance of senior team members.
- Evaluate the performance of machine learning models and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Propose and implement process improvements or tools to enhance the machine learning development lifecycle and team efficiency.

Sound a-peeling? Here’s what we’re looking for
- A passion for solving complex business problems with machine learning within a fast-paced business environment. Experience with Machine learning for marketing is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Previous experience with PySpark is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with designing and maintaining large scale Machine Learning systems for production use cases including model monitoring and drift detection.
- Pick up new technologies and modeling methodologies quickly while solving actual business problems.
- Interest in working with modern data science tooling such as cloud development, version control, CI/CD, model registries and a feature store.
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Toronto, ON Pay Range
$125,000—$155,000 CAD
