Job Description
You will be a key member of the Brand Marketing team, supporting the HelloFresh Group to drive above-the-line (ATL) media strategy in the US. This role oversees media planning across HelloFresh portfolio of brands (HelloFresh, Factor, GreenChef, and EveryPlate).
Our ideal candidate has a strong track record in ATL media planning and communications planning, with the ability to translate brand strategy and business objectives into effective, full-funnel media strategies.
This role requires both strategic thinking and operational excellence, connecting the brand proposition and audience insights to channel strategy, while influencing channel-specific creative and driving measurable business impact.
This is a high-impact role driving growth for the HelloFresh group and partnering across the broader Marketing organization.

You will …
- Media Campaign Planning:
- Support the development, execution and communication of ATL media strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
- Develop audience targeting strategies informed by research, insights, and performance data.
- Brief, review, and approve media plans developed by external media agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budget allocations.
- Apply communications planning principles to ensure media plans align with the brand proposition, audience insights, and moments that matter.
- Influence channel-specific creative and messaging strategies by leveraging knowledge of ATL media environments and audience behaviors.
- Insights, Analytics & Measurement:
- Translate insights from marketing analytics, attribution models, and Media Mix Modeling (MMM) into actionable planning and investment decisions.
- Monitor and analyze media performance, driving on-going optimization and performance improvements across weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycles.
- Be accountable for delivering against brand and acquisition KPIs, including conversion, CAC, ROI, and brand lift metrics.
- Support testing initiatives (e.g., channel tests, creative tests, geo tests) with Marketing Analytics to validate performance and unlock incremental growth.
- Process:
- Build and own scalable processes that ensure accurate media implementation, campaign setup, budget pacing, and operational excellence.
- Partner with internal teams and agencies on media trafficking, ad operations, campaign execution, contracts, invoicing, billing, and campaign auditing.

You have…
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated, consistent results.
- Experience in the U.S. media market, with understanding of the national media landscape and buying ecosystem.
- 3+ years managing media agencies or external partners, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving accountability.
- Strong knowledge of ATL media channels (Linear TV, CTV/OTT, YouTube, Radio/Streaming Audio, Podcasts, OOH) with hands-on planning or campaign management experience.
- Background in eCommerce and/or subscription-based business models is a plus.
- Strong analytical foundation, with experience partnering with marketing analytics teams and working with both brand and performance KPIs (e.g., reach, frequency, awareness, site traffic, CPM, CPV/CPS, CAC, and brand lift studies).
- Experience applying measurement frameworks to media planning, including familiarity with Media Mix Modeling (MMM), incrementality testing, and attribution methodologies, and translating insights into planning and optimization decisions.
- Fluency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting automation, dashboards, or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a strong academic record or equivalent professional experience.

$121,500—$136,700 USD
