The role: What’s in the Box?

As the Senior People Brand and Communications Specialist (all genders), you will be a key driver in operationalizing HelloFresh’s global employer narrative. This role is a 24-month contract designed to bridge the gap between complex HR strategies and the daily reality of our 16,000+ employees. You will move beyond “announcing updates” to driving true behavior change and user adoption across our People product portfolio.

Working within the Global People Organization, you will partner closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to translate technical offerings—such as new compensation frameworks, equity programs, and L&D platforms—into compelling, clear, and omnichannel communications that resonate from our headquarters to our distribution centers.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

  • Frontline & Non-Desk Communication Strategy:  Operationalize a unified communications model tailored for our hourly and warehouse-based workforce. Deploy mobile-friendly tools and physical communication protocols to ensure frontline associates are as engaged and informed as desk-based employees
  • Total Rewards Narrative & Adoption: Act as the “product marketer” for our compensation and benefits portfolio. Move away from “clinical” policy writing toward compelling, value-driven storytelling that helps employees fully understand and appreciate their total investment
  • Strategic Change Management: Support the rollout of major People Product initiatives (e.g., new L&D platforms, performance frameworks, or AI tools) by developing end-to-end communication plans and leader enablement toolkits
  • Narrative & Visual Governance: Participate in the development of a unified People Brand “look and feel.” Ensure all internal communications adhere to a consistent voice and visual identity to reduce cognitive load and strengthen the employer brand

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

  • Expertise: Proven experience in internal communications, change management, or employer branding within a complex, global organization
  • Translator Mindset: Ability to take complex “HR Processes” and turn it into simple, value-driven stories that answer the “Why” for employees
  • Visual Literacy: A strong eye for visual communication and the ability to work within established brand systems to reduce cognitive load for the audience
  • Stakeholder Management: Comfortable partnering with senior COE leaders and navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Agility: Ability to leverage AI tools to increase output efficiency while maintaining high-level strategy
