We are an independent research company and SaaS data platform focused on food product sustainability. We provide a platform called Latis that helps food and beverage companies measure, manage, and reduce their carbon footprints. Latis automates Product Carbon Footprinting (PCFs) at scale. It supports Scope 3 reporting, helps reduce emissions, and facilitates third-party verified sustainability claims. The platform also analyzes products and ingredients using eight sustainability metrics beyond carbon.

Our database is the world’s largest on food product sustainability, with over 90,000 on-farm emissions factors for food ingredients. Our research methodology is built on 18 years of scientific research. We use over 600 vetted data sources and have delivered over 12 million product carbon footprints. Our footprinting methodology is certified by the Carbon Trust and aligns with industry standards like GHG Protocol and ISO 14067.

We serve brands, retailers, food service providers, and ingredient suppliers. We assist with automated PCFs, SBTi FLAG and climate disclosure reporting, supplier engagement, full scope carbon accounting, B2C and B2B climate labeling, R&D dashboards for dynamic footprinting, and AI-powered abatement. We support customers globally and offer reporting that aligns with US (SEC Climate Disclosure, CA Climate Laws) and EU (CSRD, TNFD, EU Deforestation Law) regulations, as well as global voluntary frameworks (SBTi, CDP, GRI).
