Job Description

HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. Our main office is based in Cyprus, but our talented team works remotely from around the world. We’re developing Oxide: Survival Island, an immersive multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms, and we’re always looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us, contribute their creativity, and help shape the future of our games.

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team and drive hiring across game development disciplines. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys owning recruitment processes end-to-end, and knows how to attract top talent in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle independently: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating feedback and extending offers

  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers to define hiring strategies, candidate profiles, and recruitment priorities.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across engineering, art, and other game development functions.

  • Actively source and engage passive candidates through multiple channels.

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

  • Analyze recruitment metrics and continuously improve hiring efficiency.

  • Lead and support employer branding initiatives and other HR-related projects that strengthen the company’s market presence.

  • Contribute to recruitment process improvements and best practices.

Requirements

  • Solid recruitment experience, preferably within the gaming industry.

  • Strong understanding of game development roles and hiring markets.

  • Experience hiring software engineers and/or artists at scale in a high-volume environment.

  • Experience recruiting for multiplayer, shooter, mid-core, or hardcore game projects is highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working directly with Hiring Managers.

  • Excellent sourcing and headhunting capabilities.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong communication skills in English.
