HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. Our main office is based in Cyprus, but our talented team works remotely from around the world. We’re developing Oxide: Survival Island, an immersive multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms, and we’re always looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us, contribute their creativity, and help shape the future of our games.
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our core team in Limassol, Cyprus. This is a technically-driven role embedded between player support and the development team. It is designed for someone with a strong background in Unity and Backend development who enjoys investigating complex issues and implementing direct solutions to improve a live game.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Analyze complex player-reported issues by examining Unity (C#) and Backend source code to identify root causes.
Use internal tools, SQL databases, and monitoring systems to trace data flow and troubleshoot bugs.
Resolve issues across the codebase independently, escalating architectural changes to the core dev team.
Validate community bug reports from SDK and prepare structured technical reports with clear reproduction steps.

Maintain and improve support automations and internal workflows.
What We Expect From You:
Solid experience with Unity (C#) and a good understanding of Backend development (API, Databases, Cloud infrastructure).
Proficiency in “log diving” and using technical tools to investigate data discrepancies.
A proactive approach to troubleshooting — focusing on finding and fixing the cause, not just reporting the symptom.
English - B1+ level, Russian - C1 level.
