As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll own accurate and timely accounts receivable operations, ensuring strong cash flow, reliable financial reporting, and a robust control environment. Your work will directly support business performance by maintaining clean AR balances, resolving issues efficiently, and strengthening collaboration between Finance, Revenue, and our customers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Own end-to-end customer invoicing and proactively follow up on overdue balances with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Perform accurate cash application and resolve discrepancies to maintain clean AR balances.
- Maintain and update customer master data to ensure accurate invoicing, reporting, and collections.
- Investigate and resolve customer account inquiries (invoices, payments, credit balances, order-related topics) in collaboration with Revenue and other teams.
- Prepare and distribute AR reports, including aging and open invoice reports, and respond to stakeholder queries.
- Execute and document AR internal controls to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Perform month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and bad debt provision calculations with supporting analysis.
- Prepare materials and insights for monthly Credit Control meetings.
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- A few years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Strong understanding of AR accounting fundamentals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proven ability to analyse discrepancies, investigate variances, and resolve issues end-to-end.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- High attention to detail with a structured and well-documented way of working.
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and customers.
Nice to haves
- Experience working with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
- Experience in a fast-growing or international business environment.
- Interest in process improvement and strengthening internal controls.
