The Mission of the Security Intern
In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of security operations by handling triage and first-line support. You’ll help ensure incidents are identified, assessed, and routed quickly so the right teams can act without delay.

Outcomes:
- Most end-user security queries are resolved quickly and independently.
- Routine coordination between IT Helpdesk and Security runs smoothly, with no dropped or unclear ownership of tasks.
- Security alerts are triaged consistently and on time, and operational workflows run efficiently, ensuring risks are surfaced and escalated appropriately
Role-specific Competences
- Has a basic understanding of Security Operations, enabling meaningful contribution with limited supervision.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with end users
- Brings prior end-user support experience (if applicable) to handle user interactions confidently and effectively.
