Founded in 1981, we specialize in physical security solutions. We offer platforms that combine perimeter protection, intrusion detection, access control, video, and identity solutions. This includes physical access control systems, hardware, software for easy access, video intelligence, and digital identification systems. Our solutions cover cybersecurity, physical security, video surveillance, and logical access control, providing secure credentials, IDs, and smart cards for managing employees, temporary workers, and visitors. With over 45 years of experience, we provide scalable protection. Our comprehensive enterprise security platform includes perimeter protection, video surveillance and analytics, access control, security management systems, credentials, readers, and cybersecurity.

Our solutions are used in various settings, from government buildings and schools to airports, seaports, critical infrastructure, hospitals, and corporations worldwide. We started as Hirsch Electronics Corporation, founded by Steven B. Hirsch, who created the ScramblePad technology. In 2009, Hirsch Electronics merged with SCM Microsystems to form Identiv. In 2024, we merged with Vitaprotech, a European security provider.

We have corporate headquarters in Fremont, CA, operational headquarters in Santa Ana, CA, and federal headquarters in Arlington, VA. Our global centers are in Dallas, TX, Canada, and Chennai, India. We have over 150 employees and work with more than 400 partners, serving over 5,000 customers worldwide and securing over 100,000 doors.
