Your Role at impact.com:
We’re looking for a Data Reliability Analyst with at least two years of experience who can own the investigation of data issues end-to-end. You’ll analyze customer data flowing through our integrations, determine whether it makes sense or whether something is off, diagnose root causes, and recommend improvements that make our system more trustworthy. This role requires a balance of statistical thinking, investigative rigor, and product awareness.
You won’t just find problems — you’ll drive solutions. Your insights will directly feed our product roadmap and shape how we build and improve integrations. Ideal candidates have a background in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field and are comfortable working across data, engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze customer data across integrations to determine whether it is accurate, complete, and logically consistent — and flag when it isn’t.
- Lead investigations into data discrepancies, distinguishing between source data issues, integration logic errors, and edge cases.
- Diagnose root causes of recurring data problems and document causes, impact, and recommended solutions.
- Translate data issues into actionable product and integration improvement recommendations that feed the roadmap.
- Build or refine dashboards, trend reports, and data reliability KPIs to proactively catch issues before customers do.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to prioritize fixes and ensure data consistency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain validation rules, anomaly detection checks, and documentation standards.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Operations, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field, or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, operations, or reliability-related roles.
- Strong statistical reasoning and problem-solving skills — able to investigate complex data issues and identify patterns.
- Computer savvy and comfortable using analytical and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and investigating data.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with data quality, data observability, or monitoring platforms.
- Familiarity with APIs, ETL pipelines, or data integration platforms.
- Understanding of common data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and data exchange protocols.
- Ability to develop reports, dashboards, or validation frameworks independently.
- Experience in a SaaS or B2B technology environment.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance with eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
*This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
