Founded in 2015, we are an independent non-profit think tank. We produce data-driven analysis on how business and finance impact climate and nature crises. Our goal is to hold corporate and financial sectors accountable on climate and nature issues and to drive greater ambition.

We collaborate with investors, corporations, policymakers, media, and campaigners. Our platforms include:

• LobbyMap.org, a database of corporate and industry association lobbying on climate policy.
• FinanceMap.org, which offers metrics and analysis of the asset management sector from a climate perspective.
• CarbonMajors.org, a database of historical production and emissions data from major oil, gas, coal, and cement producers.

We also provide data to the Climate Action 100+ investor process. We have offices in London, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, São Paulo, Australia, Toronto, Brussels, and a Japan Representative Office.

Our mission is to drive ambitious action from corporations, financial institutions, and governments globally to address the climate and biodiversity crises. A key part of this mission is to advance the urgent adoption and implementation of science-based policies and regulations.

We aim to promote corporate accountability and remove barriers to progress on climate and nature through rigorous, evidence-based analysis and strategic engagement. Our values, developed by our global team, guide how we operate internally and externally, respecting linguistic and cultural diversity.

We have a global staff of over 75 professionals. We have a friendly and dynamic team and work with a global network of partners.

Our working style emphasizes deep collaboration with diverse partners and stakeholders, maintaining independence from political, commercial, or campaign-specific interests. Our culture encourages analytical rigor and clear communication of complex findings to maximize our impact. For some roles, we support a hybrid or remote-friendly setup, promoting collaboration across time zones and engagement with senior stakeholders.
