From concept and design to getting products on shelves and online, we can support retailers, brands, and wholesalers with everything they need to get ready for retail.
We are currently looking for the Director Innovation and New Product Development. It is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the company’s innovation and sourcing strategy across all product categories. This role leads a team of Product Development Category Leads/Managers and their respective innovation and sourcing functions, driving the creation of forward-thinking, high-value product solutions that meet customer needs and accelerate growth.
By integrating data-driven insights, global sourcing expertise, and category innovation, this leader ensures that the organization remains ahead of market trends while delivering exceptional quality, cost efficiency, and profitability. This role partners closely with Sales, Creative Studio, Marketing, and international teams, especially our teams in China and Korea, to execute a cohesive vision that balances creativity and commercial impact.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
· Develop and lead the company’s end-to-end innovation and product development strategy across all categories.
· Manage and mentor Category Leads/Managers to ensure alignment between innovation, sourcing, and business goals.
· Partner with Sales, Beauty Intelligence (AI) and vendors to identify client opportunities, co-develop category solutions, and drive revenue growth.
· Oversee the translation of customer insights and market trends into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
· Collaborate with the AI Beauty Intelligence team to leverage data, technology, and market intelligence in concept creation and innovation planning.
· Lead sourcing strategy and global supplier partnerships in collaboration with teams to ensure optimal cost, quality, and production efficiency.
· Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure smooth execution from concept to commercialization, meeting timelines and profitability targets.
· Establish and monitor key category and product performance metrics to measure success and guide strategic decisions.
· Build a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the Product Development organization.
· Represent the Product Development function in strategic planning discussions, key client and leadership meetings, helping shape company vision and future growth initiatives.
· Performs related duties as assigned that are consistent with the scope and level of this position.
Requirements
ABOUT YOU:
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· 8–10 years of progressive experience in product development, innovation, or sourcing roles within beauty, consumer goods, or a related industry.
· Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, in a global environment, and managing end-to-end product development cycles.
· Deep understanding of global sourcing, category management, and product commercialization.
· Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, pricing structures, and cost optimization.
· Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
· Ability to balance strategic innovation initiatives with hands-on execution.
