We were founded in 1994 as a clinical data intelligence company. We combine medical terminology, deep domain knowledge, and AI to structure and operationalize clinical data, helping healthcare organizations make better decisions.

We developed an intelligence layer that precisely captures and encodes patient encounters. We use ethical AI to improve data usage across healthcare, with applications in health tech, drug discovery, population health, and payer processes.

Our products include clinically vetted, current, and maintenance-free clinical dictionaries and value sets. We offer solutions for point-of-care workflow and data quality management. These improve clinical data quality with efficient workflows, allow for precise documentation, and make problem lists more relevant.

We extract, normalize, and enrich clinical patient data by clarifying free text, standardizing data through code mapping, and defining consistent clinical profiles. We apply advanced machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) to simplify operations, for example, by optimizing risk adjustment factor (RAF) scores.

We serve providers, life sciences, health tech, and payer organizations. 740,000 physicians and 4,500 hospitals in the US trust us.
