About Interchain Foundation
We develop and maintain core decentralized protocols. Our goal is to support organizations that are building an internet of shared resources, security, and value. We fund development, research, and teams that build and maintain the Cosmos Hub, the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol, and SDK libraries. We also promote blockchain technology by working with researchers, regulatory agencies, and nonprofits. Our team creates a decentralized technology stack for independent, interoperable blockchains and supports public goods development for Cosmos.

We formed Cosmos Labs as a wholly-owned subsidiary (formerly Interchain Labs) to centralize product development and growth for Cosmos. We operate in the software development industry, focusing on blockchain, blockchain security, decentralized networks, and open-source software.
