Role Overview

We are seeking an Recruitment & HR Support Coordinator to assist with front-end recruitment and HR support for a U.S.-based healthcare client. This role focuses on resume screening, interview scheduling, initial candidate interviews, document collection, and profile completion before handover to onshore teams.

This position is ideal for someone with some recruitment or HR exposure who is highly organised, communicative, and comfortable with administrative and coordination work.

Please note: The workload is not yet full-time, especially initially. There may be downtime at times, and the successful candidate must be flexible and open to assisting with additional tasks as needed.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Working Hours: This role requires you to work USA hours Mon - Fri from 9 am to 6 pm EST (4:00 PM to 1:00 AM South African time); however, these hours are subject to change depending on daylight savings.
  • Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
  • Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
  • Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role.
  • Public Holidays: You will be required to work on all South African public holidays (compensated as per BCEA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and screen resumes against basic role requirements
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars
  • Conduct initial phone or virtual interviews
  • Complete and maintain candidate profiles and documentation
  • Follow up with candidates for outstanding information or documents
  • Communicate candidate updates to onshore recruitment teams
  • Maintain accurate records and trackers
  • Provide additional recruitment or administrative support as required

Requirements:

  • Some background in recruitment, recruitment coordination, or HR support
  • Excellent spoken English with a professional, friendly phone manner
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good judgement and basic screening ability
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with admin-focused work
  • Comfortable using MS Office and Outlook
  • Able to navigate systems and recruitment platforms
  • Exposure to ABA or US healthcare recruitment (advantageous)
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based teams (advantageous)
