Jack Link's Protein Snacks

A global manufacturer of meat snacks, offering a range of jerky, sticks, and sausages.

About Jack Link's Protein Snacks

We are a global manufacturer of meat snacks, specializing in protein-rich products. Our story began in the 1880s when Chris Link, an immigrant to Wisconsin’s Northwoods, brought his family’s sausage recipes to America. His son, Earl Link, later opened Minong’s first general store and butcher shop. Jack Link, Earl’s grandson, started making jerky using his great-grandfather’s old recipes, eventually introducing Jack Link’s Original Kippered Beef Steak. In 1985, we started selling our products nationwide after acquiring a jerky packaging machine.

Today, we remain a family-owned and operated business, a top meat snack manufacturer worldwide. Our product line includes jerky, sticks, and sausages, made from beef, turkey, chicken, and pork. We use lean cuts of meat, marinate them with quality ingredients, and then slow-cook and dry them in smokehouses. Our brands include Jack Link’s, Lorissa’s Kitchen, MATADOR Jerky, Golden Island, BiFi, Peperami, and Wild River. We are focused on food safety, quality, and operations within the manufacturing industry.
