Job Description
Make a difference in the world of branded protein snacking as Field Sales Force Lead at Jack Link’s EMEA.
This position is based in Amsterdam and you will be reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux. In this position you will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement the national field sales strategy for the Netherlands and BeLux region separately, in line with the Benelux overall strategy.
- Develop the annual field sales plan (coverage, frequency, objectives) to achieve the field targets and aggressively drive sales growth.
- Act as the connecting link between Brand Marketing, Category Management, Sales and Planning to develop and execute shopper and channel strategies aligned with brand, category and commercial objectives, ensuring alignment on forecasts, demand and inventory for key accounts.
- Responsible for achieving profitable results and driving return on investment by developing the 3rd party teams through motivation, periodic briefings, mentoring, and developing product knowledge.
- Lead the development of in-store plans, including displays and POS materials. Own POSM material design, development and delivery, including sales materials for FSF, ensuring all POSM is fully aligned with the commercial agenda and equips the field team with the right in-store tools
- Drive profitable results and maximize return on investment by measuring and evaluating activation performance (ROAS, uplift, conversion) using relevant LSI and customer data sources, continuously optimizing team effectiveness based on insights, learnings and best practices.
Qualifications
EU Citizenship and/or valid work permit is required. Jack Link’s EMEA does not offer a relocation package for this position. All applications must be submitted in English, as it is the company’s corporate language.
- Educational Background in Sales, Business Administration or a related field
- Successful previous experience as a Field Force Manager/ Field representative in the FMCG food and beverage industry, preferably in the confectionery, beverage, or snack industry, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- In-depth understanding of route planning/efficiency, geographical coverage, and focus of activities in the market
- Leadership personality with strong execution skills and a leadership mindset. This position will have an indirect reporting line (sales representatives via an outsourcing Jack Link’s partner)
- Motivational coach and leader with experience in building brands and developing and successfully implementing plans
- Highly self-motivated and able to inspire employees to achieve peak performance
- Experience in retail in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively.
- Strong business acumen and industry knowledge with a genuine entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to define medium- and long-term strategies while maintaining practical skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in Dutch and English
