Certification in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language of at least 120 hours. Example: TESOL, CELTA, TEFL certifications.
Minimum 4 to 5 years of direct experience teaching ESL/EFL classes.
Preferably 3 to 5 years teaching experience in the computer science engineering field.
Experience working with adult students or college-level students.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, academic staff and students.
Knowledge of current trends in best practices in the field of ESL.
Experience required in online teaching.
Experience using Canvas or another LMS.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Remote work modality (home office).
