This role is offered as a hybrid in Brno, Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic or who have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic.

What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Test to join our PandoCats team – a collaborative, high-trust group building one of Jamf’s most visible, customer-facing platforms. The team is distributed between the US and Brno, bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

As we expand into more production and customer-facing code, we’re taking a more intentional approach to quality and reliability. In this role, you’ll shape how testing is designed and executed across the team, ensuring that every release is stable, scalable, and built with confidence. You’ll play a key role in driving test automation strategy, partnering closely with developers, QA, and platform engineers to align on best practices and shared tooling.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks that enable scalable and reliable testing across PandoCats services.

  • Define and drive quality standards, ensuring new features are built with testability and maintainability in mind.

  • Lead by example in test automation practices, helping improve release speed, confidence, and consistency.

  • Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and Platform teams to align on testing strategies, shared tooling, and best practices.

  • Conduct structured gap analyses and recommend improvements in automation coverage and test strategy.

  • Build and execute both automated and manual test cases where needed.

  • Mentor engineers across levels, promoting quality-first principles and sustainable testing practices.

  • Contribute to Jamf-wide quality initiatives and help shape a testing culture that supports continuous delivery and innovation.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience designing and leading the implementation of automated test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.

  • Strong coding ability with a focus on testability, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, automation strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience mentoring or coaching engineers in test practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive testing improvements across an agile team.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with Angular, React, Vue, or TypeScript.

  • Background in testing micro frontends or distributed systems.

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.

  • Exposure to accessibility and performance testing.

  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Experience contributing to shared component libraries or design systems.
