Who We Hire
Techies who want to build the future. Creatives who want to design it better. Communicators to win business. Collaborators to build it. Data pros who turn numbers into insights. Product builders who turn ideas into innovations. Anyone eager to be on a team that doesn’t stop to ask what’s next, because they’re already building it.
Mission
As a Project Manager at Kargo, you will drive reliable, on-time delivery of front-end and technical initiatives by bringing structure, clarity, and execution discipline to our Engineering & Product Development team. You own the delivery system — from sprint planning through post-release follow-up — ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned and work gets shipped.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 4 days per week.
Outcomes - What Success Looks like in 6-12 months
- Build a trusted delivery system: Sprint boards, roadmap timelines, and release calendars are accurate, up-to-date, and used as the single source of truth by Engineering, Product, and QA.
- Reduce delivery blockers by 25%+: Proactively identify cross-team dependencies, risks, and capacity issues before they become delivery failures — not after.
- Lead Agile ceremonies that matter: Stand-ups are tight, retrospectives drive real process change, and sprint planning produces commitments that teams actually execute against.
- Own release readiness end-to-end: Establish a consistent go-live process that reduces surprises, improves communication across stakeholders, and captures post-release learnings.
- Become the execution backbone: Earn a reputation across Engineering, Product, and QA as the person who makes delivery happen — with clarity and accountability, not bureaucracy.
Skills - Core Technical Capabilities
Required
- 3–5 years of project management experience working directly with software engineering teams
- Strong command of Agile methodology and the full SDLC; hands-on proficiency with Jira or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage concurrent workstreams, own roadmap timelines, and drive sprint commitments end-to-end
- Able to identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers — and engage credibly with engineers on technical concepts
Preferred
- Background in Ad Tech or another complex, high-throughput technical environment
- Experience supporting workflow tools, ad servers, CMS platforms, or SaaS-based products
Competencies -Behaviors We Like to See

Clarity & Communication
- Gives precise, timely status updates and translates technical complexity into language partners can act on
- Documents decisions and action items consistently so nothing falls through the cracks

- Stays effective under pressure — scope changes, production incidents, tight deadlines — without losing sight of the goal

- Navigates competing priorities across Engineering, Product, and QA with low ego and high effectiveness
- Builds trust across globally distributed teams through consistency, follow-through, and zero unnecessary overhead
