We started Barstool Sports in 2003 as a digital sports and pop culture media company. We produce blogs, videos, and podcasts covering sports and pop culture news and highlights, aiming for content that’s ‘by the common man, for the common man.’ You can find our content across web, apps, podcasts, radio, video, social media, events, pay-per-view, subscription services, and television.
Each month, we reach over 66 million unique users, with nearly half (46%) in the 18-34 age group. Beyond media, we also handle merchandising, e-commerce, and advertising. Our founder, Dave Portnoy, is often seen posting from major sporting events.
