About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Content Manager to join our dedicated OLIVER + client Scientific team. The successful candidate will play a key role within a growing product team, helping to define and evolve the user experience across client Scientific’s digital platforms for B2B audiences. This role also supports integrated marketing activations aimed at driving traffic and accelerating digital commerce growth.
As Digital Content Manager, you will lead the review, ideation, and development of product content initiatives, ensuring content is aligned to business priorities and user needs. You will conduct in-depth research across product categories aligned to client Scientific’s business divisions to deliver content audits, gap analysis, strategic recommendations, and industry benchmarking guidelines for priority categories.
This role is suited to a strategic thinker who brings fresh perspectives and actively drives change within a fast-evolving, collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand core marketing strategies and translate them into a clear, effective content requirements matrix that supports customer experience and commercial objectives. Please note that a writing test will form part of the hiring process.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborating across functions and silos to deliver high-quality content
- Planning, ideating, and creating content that meets audience needs and optimises conversion across complex,technical product journeys
- Developing andmaintaining editorial governance to ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and style
- Managing project calendars, content workflows, and implementation of best practices
- Reviewing and approving content, including proofreading and editing
- Coordinating with creative agencies and internal teams to execute content initiatives
- Creating and presenting programme approaches, roadmaps, and performance updates
- Analysing global content and aligning it with regional customer journey maps
- Reviewing prioritised product portfolios toidentify SKU alignment with global content, enabling reuse and scalability
- Partnering with regional and global stakeholders, including Mandarin-speaking markets, to support content development and alignment
What you need to be great in this role:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to create, review, and adapt content in both languages
- Strong writing experience in English and Chinese, with excellent verbal and presentation skills
- Proven experience in B2B content creation, particularly for complex or technical products
- Exceptional command of grammar, proofreading, and editorial standards
- Advanced knowledge of SEO, content structure and categorisation, development, distribution, and performance measurement
- Experience producing product content for the web, with channel-specific knowledge (blogs, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, RedNote, WeChat)
- Strong editorial mindset with the ability to understand audience behaviour and create engaging content
- Ability to analyse content performance and present clear insights and recommendations
- Interest or background in engineering, science, or biology, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-focused content
- Experience with enterprise analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is a plus
- Consistent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and the ability to be self–directed
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong people skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
- Experience of line managing one or more subordinates
- Passionate about new technology, digital trends, creativity and creative technology
- Willingness to question and provide constructive feedback on marketing activities beyond primary responsibilities (e.g., digital strategy, UX/UI, creative, and design)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (marketing, journalism, communications, business etc.) with relevant working experience of not less than 5-6 years in similar roles
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within a digital team in managing organic SEO projects, copywriting, and/or eCommerce content marketing projects
- Experience delivering projects around the Asia Pacific region
- Master’s degree in related field
- Experience working within creative or content agencies
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
