A mission-driven community bank operating across the Southeast, with designations as a Public Benefit Corporation and Minority Depository Institution. The organization is in an active phase of strategic growth and expansion and is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support its President and CEO.
About the Role
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy support role for a fast-moving executive whose calendar spans multiple cities each week. You will own complex calendar and travel management, keep communications moving, and handle a mix of professional and personal logistics. You will operate proactively, stay several steps ahead, and close loops without being asked.
Responsibilities
- Manage a complex, multi-city calendar across professional and personal obligations
- Coordinate domestic travel end-to-end, including accommodations, itineraries, and regional contacts
- Manage board-related travel and meeting logistics on a recurring monthly basis
- Draft and manage executive correspondence, calibrating tone for board members, partners, regulators, and internal staff
- Serve as a trusted point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a list of priority contacts and arrange key engagements such as dinners and lunches with constituents
- Track action items, deadlines, and follow-ups in close coordination with the Chief of Staff
- Support bookkeeping functions including expense reimbursement and select private holdings
- Coordinate personal and household logistics as needed
- Maintain a high standard of discretion across all matters, professional and personal
Location
Remote role with preference for candidates based in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida due to close proximity to HQ.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3+ years of experience in complex administrative support, with direct experience supporting a C-suite or senior executive
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Exceptional calendar and travel management skills in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment
Clear, polished written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across audiences including board members, executives, regulators, and external partners
High degree of discretion and confidentiality
Proactive, self-directed working style with the ability to anticipate needs and execute without repeated direction
Sound judgment and executive-level presence
Preferred
Background in financial services, banking, or a similarly regulated industry
Familiarity with bookkeeping or expense management for both corporate and private holdings
Experience supporting a principal with both professional and personal logistics
Base salary range: $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience
