Job Description
Our client is seeking a seasoned, hands-on technical leader to own and evolve the systems architecture that powers their ecommerce, ERP, warehouse, and fulfillment operations. This is not a management-only or vendor-oversight role — it is a builder, architect, and problem-solver position for someone who thrives at the intersection of code, data, and business operations.
You will serve as the technical backbone of the organization, directly architecting and configuring NetSuite ERP, working within the Magento/Adobe Commerce codebase, designing warehouse and fulfillment system integrations, and building the data and analytics infrastructure that drives decision-making across Finance, Operations, and Marketing.
In this role, you will:
- Architect, configure, and customize NetSuite ERP using SuiteScript, workflows, saved searches, and SuiteTalk APIs
- Work directly in the Magento/Adobe Commerce codebase (PHP, module customization, extensions) to optimize performance and lead secure API integrations for payments, inventory, and shipping
- Design and implement real-time ERP–WMS integrations, scanning/barcoding tooling, and automation for slotting, pick-path efficiency, cycle counts, and returns processing
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations, middleware, and ETL workflows (Celigo or custom integration layers)
- Own database management including SQL optimization, indexing, and data modeling
- Design scalable data architecture for customer LTV modeling, SKU-level demand forecasting, inventory intelligence, margin analysis, and channel attribution
- Build BI dashboards and reporting systems, working directly with Finance and Operations
- Own cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure or equivalent), CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery, and security — including PCI compliance, endpoint protection, and vulnerability monitoring
This is an ideal fit for someone who is equally comfortable writing code, debugging production systems, querying databases, and presenting technical strategy to leadership.
Essential
- 10–15+ years in a hands-on technical role
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/SuiteScript, PHP (Magento), SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs
- Advanced NetSuite customization, configuration, and administration experience
- Experience with Magento/Adobe Commerce or an equivalent enterprise ecommerce platform
- Deep understanding of ERP–ecommerce synchronization challenges (inventory, pricing, fulfillment, refunds, tax logic)
- Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable integration architectures
- Solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and transactional integrity
- Experience debugging complex, production-level data and transaction inconsistencies
- Track record of leading technical teams while remaining an active individual contributor
- Demonstrated standards of excellence in code quality, testing rigor, documentation, and deployment safety
- Experience with cloud infrastructure architecture and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfillment automation
Familiarity with middleware platforms such as Celigo
Background in building BI/analytics infrastructure (LTV modeling, demand forecasting, margin analysis)
Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks across distributed systems
Knowledge of PCI compliance and data security standards
Advanced degree (not required if technical depth is exceptional)
Base Salary: $200,000 - $225,000
Performance Bonus: Up to 20% based on goals
Comprehensive health insurance
401(k) retirement plan
Generous paid time off
Additional company perks and benefits
