NetSuite Principal Solutions Architect

Job description

Principal Solutions Architect – NetSuite

About Kimberlite Partners, LLC

At Kimberlite Partners, we help businesses get more from NetSuite — faster deployments, seamless integrations, and support that actually solves problems. As a certified NetSuite Alliance Partner, we deliver practical ERP solutions tailored to how your business runs — not how software thinks it should.

We specialize in NetSuite services for:

  • Software & SaaS Companies — streamline billing, subscriptions, and operations
  • Professional Services Firms — manage projects, resources, and margins with clarity
  • Manufacturing & Distribution — gain control over inventory, fulfillment, and supply chain
  • Fire & Life Safety Companies — meet industry-specific needs with custom workflows

Our team includes the original leaders behind Demand Solutions Group (DSG) —  DSG multi-year NetSuite Solution Provider of the year winner and creators of the Managed Application Consulting (MAC) method. That means decades of hands-on ERP experience brought directly to your project. Whether you’re implementing NetSuite for the first time or optimizing a live environment, we bring clarity, speed, and accountability to every step.

Position Overview

As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will lead customer definition sessions, demonstrate NetSuite capabilities through iterative workshops, and translate business challenges into scalable, effective ERP solutions. You’ll be both a strategic advisor and hands-on architect— guiding customers through discovery, design, and adoption, while ensuring that every solution delivers measurable business impact.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business process design, solution innovation, and change leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Leadership

  • Conduct discovery and definition sessions to deeply understand customer goals, processes, and challenges.
  • Lead iterative solution workshops and software demos, translating customer requirements into tailored NetSuite solutions.
  • Design and configure complex, multi-functional NetSuite environments that align with customer business processes and KPIs.
  • Identify functional and technical gaps and create innovative solutions — whether through configuration, SuiteFlow, scripting, or integrations.

Change Management & Customer Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to guide customers through organizational and process change tied to ERP adoption.
  • Communicate complex solution concepts clearly and confidently to both executive and functional audiences.
  • Partner with customers to drive user adoption, ensuring successful go-lives and long-term satisfaction.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Work closely with project managers, consultants, and developers to ensure aligned solution delivery.
  • Support Sales and Leadership teams in scoping new opportunities and defining Statements of Work.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Kimberlite methodologies and solution frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on NetSuite functional consulting experience, including solution design, configuration, and delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead definition sessions, demos, and design workshops with cross-functional customer teams.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex, end-to-end NetSuite solutions (ERP, CRM, ARM, PSA, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of business process design across one or more verticals (Software/SaaS, Services, Manufacturing, Distribution).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive consensus.
  • Experience in change management — guiding organizations through system, process, and role transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification a strong plus.
  • Experience Advanced NetSuite Modules (e.g. ARM, SuiteProjects, EPM, CPQ, NSAW…)  and project-based operations a plus.

Additional Information

  • Location: Remote (US or India)
  • If based in India, must be available to work CST US Hours (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST).
