Location: Sacramento, CA
Hybrid preferred (1–2 remote days per week depending on experience). Fully remote may be considered for a highly experienced candidate.

Role Overview
The Litigation Associate Attorney will support and manage employment law matters from counseling through litigation, working directly with clients and partners on strategy, advocacy, and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and counsel employer clients on day-to-day employment law issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and written advocacy
- Argue motions and contribute meaningfully to litigation strategy from inception through resolution
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Conduct legal research and deliver clear, business-minded guidance
- Collaborate closely with partners and support junior attorneys as appropriate
- Participate in networking and business development efforts as interest and experience allow
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 2+ years of experience in employment law litigation and/or related employment matters
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Sound professional judgment with confidence in client-facing situations
- Employment law defense experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings, depositions, or mediations
