We founded Kraken in 2011 to build a digital asset exchange. Today, we offer a platform for trading Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies. Our services include digital asset markets, security, wallet services, and blockchain offerings like Parachain Auctions, Staking, and Proof of Reserves.

We provide enterprise-grade security for large clients, conduct KYC operations for VIPs, and run a global sanctions screening program. We also develop an experimentation program and focus on protecting customer accounts from fraud and unauthorized access. For partners like banks and fintechs, we offer Embed and Ramp services.

Internally, we develop and scale financial systems for accounting and treasury. Our teams use data analysis to manage risk and improve operational performance across fraud, funding, and support. This involves building data pipelines and contributing to machine learning initiatives.
