As a Product Delivery Automation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in refining our product delivery & operational processes by integrating automation solutions. Keeping up to date with the best of breed industry trends and advancements in agile methodologies and project management will be crucial as you contribute to the continuous improvement of our Ways of Working. Your responsibilities will involve supporting teams in the successful execution of projects while championing Agile principles and facilitating Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, possess a sound grasp of project management techniques, and have a proven track record of leading cross functional teams towards delivery outcomes.

Hybrid Setup - 3 days WFH / 2 days on-site.

Job Description

Delivery Management:

\* Create and maintain Group and Division delivery plans, including timelines and tasks within our enterprise toolset (Atlassian suite)

\* Monitor and track delivery progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.

\* Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide regular status updates.

Automation Strategy:

\* Develop and implement strategies for automating delivery processes using the Atlassian suite, inhouse technologies such as Vectorium, external products such as Zapier, and tools such as Slack or other third-party integrations.

Process Analysis and Improvement:

\* Take an automation-first approach, analysing existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimisation and automation across all relevant platforms.

Tooling:

\* Lead the design, administration, maintenance, and support of the Atlassian cloud suite of products including Jira Software, Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, and marketplace add-on products such as EazyBI, as well as inhouse and external automation platforms, to drive automation and improve business efficiencies and processes.

Integration Management:

\* Integrate Jira and other core systems with inhouse technologies (e.g., Vectorium), external automation platforms (e.g., Zapier), and other tools used within the organisation’s software development ecosystem and collaboration platforms.

Governance and Compliance:

\* Ensure that Jira and related automation platform usage complies with organisational policies, and best practices for data security, privacy, and governance.

Training and Documentation:

\* Provide training and support to Jira and automation platform users across the organisation, including creating documentation, conducting workshops, and answering user questions.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

\* Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Scrum of Scrums, Steering Committees, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

\* Coach and mentor Scrum Teams on Agile principles and JIRA usage, helping them embrace and implement Scrum practices effectively.

\* Promote continuous improvement within teams, encouraging them to adapt their processes for optimal efficiency and quality.

Team Leadership:

\* Lead, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve their goals and deliver high-quality results.

\* Foster a growth mindset and a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.

\* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

\* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.

\* Ensure effective communication between the team and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.

Metrics and Reporting:

\* Define and track key performance metrics, ensuring transparency and visibility into delivery progress and team performance.

\* Provide regular status updates and performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

\* 3+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.

\* Proven experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

\* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent is required.

\* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

\* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

\* Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

\* Experience in coaching and mentoring teams for improved Agile adoption.

\* Highly proficient in the use of Jira and Advanced roadmaps.

\* Experience in design and management of Jira Automation workflows

\* A demonstrated capability to build, develop and navigate relationships both inside and outside of the team - including with senior stakeholders.

Preferred:

\* Relevant ITIL certification
