Job Description
The Manager – Settlement is an operational leader within Lendi’s Credit and Operations function, responsible for leading the end-to-end Settlement operations across Client Solutions.
This role oversees post approval loan processing to settlement, ensuring timely execution, strong compliance, and a consistent customer and broker experience. The Manager – Settlement drives operational performance across National Sales and Customer Solutions teams, aligning delivery with business growth objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Settlement, this position provides strategic leadership, operational governance, and capability development within a fast paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership and Delivery • Own end to end post approval loan application management to settlement • Ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and on time settlements • Oversee pipeline health, workload distribution, and service level performance • Proactively manage customer and broker expectations throughout the settlement lifecycle • Strengthen lender engagement to reduce turnaround times and settlement risk
Leadership and Team Management • Lead and develop agents within settlement functions • Set clear performance standards aligned with business OKRs • Drive accountability through structured performance management and reporting • Coach and mentor to build high performing, resilient teams • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Strategic and Cross Functional Collaboration • Partner with Client Solutions senior leadership to execute strategic and operational priorities • Collaborate with Brokers, Risk, and Compliance to ensure alignment across the loan lifecycle • Provide data driven insights to support decision making and capacity planning
Process Optimisation and Governance • Identify process gaps and implement scalable improvements across settlement workflows • Standardise operating procedures to drive consistency and quality outcomes • Embed strong governance, audit readiness, and risk management practices • Monitor KPIs including settlement timelines, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Experience and Capability
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience within mortgage broking, banking, or financial services operations
• Strong knowledge of post approval, and settlement processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross functional stakeholders
• Track record of delivering measurable operational improvements
• Strong analytical capability with a structured, performance focused approach
