About LifeLabs Learning

LifeLabs Learning offers learning and development for managers and teams, specializing in leadership training. Since 2008, we have trained over 500,000 people at more than 2,400 companies, including BlackRock, Etsy, Target, and Kaiser Permanente. We are an Inc. 5000 company.

Our programs offer science-backed training, delivered online and in-person by experienced facilitators. The curriculum focuses on “Tipping Point Skills®,” which are small, impactful changes designed for immediate use. Training topics include Coaching Skills, Feedback Skills, Productivity & Prioritization, Effective 1:1s, Strategic Thinking, Meeting Mastery, Leading Change, People Development, Influential Communication, Adaptivity & Resilience, Career Growth, Behaviors of Inclusion, Inclusive Interviewing, Managing Distributed Employees, Rapid Trust, and Skillful Conflict & Collaboration. We also provide custom solutions, coaching, and resources.

We help organizations strengthen people analytics for AI strategy, boost individual contributor and team performance, equip managers with essential skills, and retain leadership talent through development opportunities. A percentage of every sale funds our Catalyst Program, which provides employee development to small nonprofits.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to help companies achieve results faster while creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive. We do this by teaching small changes in communication and collaboration that drive significant workplace impact. Our vision is to empower 1 million people across five continents with skills for effective, inclusive, and high-performing workplaces. We are committed to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-bias (IDEA), championed by our IDEA Council. We also prioritize a fun, fulfilling workplace and a diverse, inclusive, and thoughtful team.

Team & Culture

Our team has between 51 and 200 employees. We are diverse, inclusive, and thoughtful, made up of experts who are passionate about giving people essential skills. Our facilitators include teachers, psychologists, researchers, and experienced trainers for managers, teams, and leaders.

Our culture focuses on making work more meaningful, promoting a fun and fulfilling workplace. We prioritize equity and accessibility in our hiring process to address discrimination and bias in recruitment. We use structured questions and scorecards, limit experience requirements, involve multiple decision-makers, and offer various accommodations. Interviewers receive training to recognize and reduce biases.

We support Labmate Communities through six active Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) focused on shared identities, encouraging engagement and support. An IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-bias) Council unites employees to champion these principles, identify gaps, and develop initiatives. The Lab Coaching Program pairs employees with internal LabCoaches for personal and professional development through one-on-one sessions, using coaching skills taught in company workshops.

We offer several benefits and perks to our employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, brain-friendly PTO, predictable salary progression, and a 401(K) retirement plan.
